I have to tell you about the fabulous week in Alaska we had about a month ago.
(That long ago already?)
My parents have their 40th anniversary this year so they went on an inside passage cruise the first week of August and then we all flew up to Anchorage where we met up to spend a week exploring the interior. Seth and I played tour guides and showed my parents the sights. It was really fun to spend time just relaxing with them and see a place I love so much.
We went to Denali and through the park, Talkeetna (which showed us a perfect view of the mountain), down the Kenai peninsula with some fishing on the river, Seward and back to Anchorage. My parents were able to see every animal on their list, ride the Alaska Railroad and just see the general splendor that is Alaska.
We are so blessed to have some wonderful McKnight parents.
