We are now the proud parents of a precious little puppy!
After Thanksgiving came and went, things finally began to settle down and get comfortable. We have talked about getting a dog since the day we knew we were going to get married and with the house in some sense of order, we knew it was puppy time.
We found Bodie via a 'no kill' adoption group that saved him from the pound. He and his 4 brothers and mother had been dropped at the front porch of the pound and rescued by this group. We adopted him the weekend after Thanksgiving when he was just 8 weeks old. Bodie is a chihuahua/terrier/other mix with a small, muscled build and tall, active ears like a chihuahua.
He has been such a great puppy!
We get this question a lot so here you go- Bodie is named after Bode Miller, a pro skier, and Bode Merrill, a pro snowboarder. We added the 'i' because all things that are this cute and lovey dovey end in 'ie' don't they?
