I thought I'd break up the 'Slacker Summary' into different posts. 

Does this make it more interesting??

Here's June....

When Seth and I met, he had recently bought his dream car. A VW GTI that he was completely in love with. 

I, on the other hand, have not so much loved as hated this car. 

I'll concede it was fun to drive and had some pick up and go with a sporty look. 

What wasn't so sporty with me were the mechanics bills it took to keep that thing happy. Synthetic oil changes (didn't know those existed til I met this car), 2 broken axles in as many years, broken wiper fluid motor and leaks that came from who knows where. Fun times. The last leak was what did me in when we found out it was from the transmission. 

YOU'RE OUTTA HERE!

I was over it. Seth saw the reality of it and conceded to get a new car! We already knew what we had in mind so we took a few test drives and searched online. Just like that, a week later, we traded in for a 2010 Honda Accord. Aaaaaahhh. *Sigh of comfort and love*. Its so nice to have a 4 dr car in the family. We had the windows tinted on this silver beauty with black interior to satisfy Seth's recommendation for something a little sporty. 

I love it. Now I'm just hoping our 2000 Ford Explorer hangs on for another few years. She's got 150K miles and I want her to keep going for over 200K. Fingers crossed and oil changed!
