Its love day, not gift day

Did anybody else get a water bottle from Target and a half legible scribbled note 

at 10:15pm for Valentine's day? 

Because I did. 

That came after getting a pile of wood and mod podge for my birthday and being told it was a table he was building for me that he hadn't finished yet. My birthday was in September and I still have a pile of sticky wood in my craft room. He did stop by the office and bring me a few roses and a plastic cup he found in his car to act as a vase on my birthday though.

Maybe for my birthday this year he'll get me wet towel and a hair ball.

There were several reasons why I married him and his gift-giving skill was NOT one of them. 

And yes, I did go out this morning and buy myself some beautiful flowers and put them in a very beautiful vase in the kitchen. Every girl deserves flowers for V-day no matter if they're from herself!
