The Easter bunny invasion!

I have grown more comfortable with iphone pics and instagram so that means...more pics for the blog and facebook. Yay! Aren't you excited?!

We had an action packed Easter weekend. Probably the most celebrated Easter of my life.
After work on Friday, I stopped by the grocery store to pick up some eggs and dye (and a few dozen other things that I always seem to forget that I need til I get to the store.) When I got home, Seth pulled into the garage just after me coming home from work. Lo and behold, he decided to stop by another grocery store and buy eggs and dye too. Sooo, we have 4 dozen eggs in our fridge and whole bunch of dye...and we don't have any children to entertain with it. Its just us. young 4eva!

We went to dinner Friday night and came home to dye 2 dozen Easter eggs. I don't where it came from, but I always have the urge to make an Elvis egg. Maybe he just had the perfect shaped head for it?

Saturday was spent at my parents house moving furniture around in the morning (can't be a family gathering without some manual labor) then I headed to the Mesa temple grounds to claim great seats for the Easter pageant that started at 8.  We made a family picnic out of it. I took my nieces and nephew for a stroll around the temple and down the street to a 'mercado' for some drinks and I found a sweeet new pair of $5 sunglasses. Bonus.

The Mesa Temple Easter pageant was amazing! The costumes were probable the best theatrical aspect of it, but it was done beautifully all around.

Seth and I both taught on Sunday. He taught his 14 yr old Sunday School class and I taught Relief Society. The lesson was on eternal life and the resurrection. I enjoy the challenge of teaching so it was a good time.
We took a nap (rare for us!) then headed to parents house to hide a bunch of candy filled eggs around their house for the kids to have an egg hunt when they got home from church. It was a surprise to them and even my 15 yr old 6'1" nephew got excited for it. Success!

We had a great dinner and spent time visiting. Bodie was good and spoiled and even got to pick the ham bone clean from dinner. Lucky dog!
