We have finally started to explore! We took a spontaneous car camping trip to Tuscon and Tombstone. It was so good to get out and see this place! The desert is not something I thought I'd ever really appreciate, but it can be beautiful. This area has its charm and beauty. Its different than I've become accustomed to over the years, but I'm excited to love something new.
We took a day last week to see the 'Mystery Castle' in Phoenix. Its a house made out of things collected or traded in the desert. Really cool!
We took today and went to the zoo and tried a new pub in downtown Tempe for lunch. Downtown Tempe is so fun! Its a college town (completely unlike Rexburg) and we love going there to walk around and try what it has to offer.
We are excited to have found a place that catches our interest. Yes, there are beautiful mountains and blue oceans in other places in the country we could have gone to, but we've found a place that's welcoming us and we're learning to love it.
